Trail Report: Two weeks before this run, the Hare asked the GM whether a certain station had ever been used by F3H3 before (although he could have found out more easily and much more quickly by consulting the trash pages of this webshite). It hadn't so this week's venue was fixed. Nogi park, directly above exit 1, proved almost ideal so one might wonder why it wasn't used earlier. It's most significant potential drawback is the lack of a good place to shelter from rain.

By 7:20 just a few Hashers had arrived and at 7:30 only 17 heard the Hare grumbling that Wednesday's Hare had put much of his Trail from Roppongi through the area around this Friday's venue. Informed that there were therefore no checks in the first half, the Pack set off on the Trail, which took them under the flyover and up the zig-zag. This was just a taste of things to come. The first half seemed to be an exercise in folding a Trail into the smallest possible space.

The Trail wove its way northwards to Aoba park, the venue of Run 110, and came back south along the main street to the west end of Nogizaka station, where the Hare managed to use three flights of steps (two up, one down) to get the Pack up to the south side of the Flyover. Then it was through the cemetery to the south end, then up the west side along the extremely narrow sidewalk of Gaien-nishi-dori as far as Aoyama bridge - to a CB! The on-on led back into the cemetery and west across the bridge then south beside the cemetery annex and into the backstreets. Here, about 4 km along the Trail, the Pack were still only 1 km from the start.

Somewhere there was a very narrow and very dark alley with uneven steps. Elsewhere there was a sculpture a couple of feet across in the shape of a big, fat head: some Hashers suspected it might have been modelled on Moonie. The rest of the Trail, with only three Checks, took the pack close to Omotesando station, northwards to a very short stretch along Aoyama-dori, then eastwards brushing the edge of the cemetery to pass the venue of Run 125. The Trail then turned south to approach the finish along the east side of Gaien-higashi-dori, within just a fes metres of the outward Trail.

For some reason there was a surfeit of food after the run. As planned, the Hare had bought some typical chips and similar, Rapunzel took some egg and potato salad and stacks of sliced bread. But there were unsolicited and unannounced contributions of more sandwiches, almost raw beef and some grilled chicken. One of French Tickler's girlfriends dropped in to see what we were up to and seemed to enjoy the occasion, despite being neither a runner dor a drinker. The temperature seemed to plummet after the run so soon after 9:00 some people were already calling for the Circle to begin.

Down-downs: awarded to In Your Dreams, Niku Doko? and Kakapupu for fukinov early; the Hare for haring; instead of the FRB to Moonie-chan, Roman Style and French Tickler for short-cutting; Muff Diver for DFL-ing and finishing as the Circle was beginning; Sekiyu Dorobo and Fujiyamas for welcome back; Kurohachi (represented by look-alike the Mullah) for her Virginity; Spermless for getting yelled at by the police; the Mullah for surprise sandwiches; Wrong Pussy for something about Sesame Street, LA (on Wednesday) and short-cutting; Moonie for his head on Trail; French Tickler's girlfriend (but Guru Guru drank it); Master Shafter for not running; Hula Girl for looking like a Snow Lady; Bear Ass for talking about birthdays; Hurdy Gurdy Man for something about a submarine; The Hare, Rapunzel, Pee Wee, Seventy Percent, Jelly Mouth and Master Shafter for being couples; the Hare, Rapunzel, Guru Guru, Roman Style and Wrong Pussy for resembling setsubun's Oni (Rapunzel was elected as the most appropriate); Pee Wee for having Duskin's pawprints all over her hat; and the Mullah, Guru Guru, Seventy Percent and I Have The Clap for announcements. Apparently there was no beer left to drink to the Flounder.

AfterHash: where Fukinov is an Art...  next week's Hare was absent so this week's Hare took custody of the left-over food until the next run.
